What a fabulous advise, when running or starting a small business you bound to experience so many different feelings and some days is can be such an emotional roller coaster and if you don’t have a clear vision of what is important to you it can make you feel hopeless and lost.

Writing down your personal and business objectives definitively gives you that extra boost of believe and also a clear path to follow.

Wow – this is spooky as I have been having similar thoughts. I feel so passionate about my business and developing it into a great and credible resource for mums returning to work that I actually needed to stand back and take a good old dose of my own advice.

One of the things that does keep me going, however, is the way in which us girls share these thoughts with such honesty and respect. Female entrepreneursip is not an easy option for working mums but there is great comradeship which I didn’t experience so genuinely when I worked in the corporate world.

Thanks Julie for such an honest blog and to the other girls who have also responded to it so genuinely. Wishing you all lots of success. Majella

Oh there must be something in the air this Easter hols – I couldn’t agree more with you Julie. I have been working really hard on a fairly new business venture and had major goals in sight. Even though I have been hitting my short-term objectives, I kept feeling I was not achieving enough and pushing myself to the point of over tiredness, minor ailments and lack of family time. Having just spent some quality time with the kiddies this holiday, I too am going to take your excellent advice and just re-evaluate what my personal objectives really are! Thank you.
