March 3, 2009.  London. Ogunte, the Organisation for Women Leading the Social Economy, is delighted to invite you to the launch of the Manifesto for Women Social Innovators on March 3rd at the hub in Kings Cross, London.

This event will promote, connect and champion Female Social innovators, in social entreprises, campaigns or networks, women who have stepped out of the tramlines of convention and been brave enough to try something new. Women who provide sustainable, replicable, exciting and inclusive solutions and contribute to making a society that is socially, environmentally and economically more balanced.
Through the manifesto, we propose to bring these women together (the famous ones as well as those working in the shadows.) to help hold their heads high, to shout out what they have achieved.
On the evening, meet up with women who lead great networks and use innovative media and skills to achieve positive social impact: Lee Chalmers from the Downing Street Project, Kate Nielson from Contaminant Media, Sofia Bustamante from Turn Up the Courage , Ruth Rogers, from Body Gossip, and many others…
