Natalie Massenet – Fashion without boundaries

Natalie Massenet is the Founder and Chairman of Net-a-Porter, the world’s first online, high end fashion magazine.  During the worldwide ‘pashmina’ boom, Natalie advised a friend, who was importing them to sell wholesale, to cut out the middle man and sell directly to the consumer via the internet.  As she was saying it, it dawned on Natalie that she should do the same thing for herself.  Launched in 2000 with three people, Net-a-Porter now employs 300 people in two continents.  Natalie makes an interesting point, that she is not a serial entrepreneur, but she has taken those principles and applied it to one business, which has made it very successful.  Listen to her story.
