Women Unlimited Newsletter
Hi [Firstname]
Hopefully you're managing to take some time out over the summer months and give yourself a bit of a break. The promised BBQ summer doesn't seem to be showing up, but don't let that stop you from getting out and having some fun. It can be a challenge to know what to do with your children during the summer holidays, so we've put an article up on some fun things for kids to do in London that might be of interest if you live in the capital or are planning a visit here. We had a great meetup this month with Wendy Tan White founder of Moonfruit and Diana Soltmann of Flagship Consulting delivered one of the best workshops (Grabbing the Headlines) that I have attended in a long time! We've got a new date of November 4th for the next one, so make sure you don't miss out. That's all for this month, have a great month and make sure you give yourself the chance to enjoy your summer!
All the best, Julie |

opportunity to make an impression (the first is yourself). While it may
be tempting to get those free Vista Print cards, believe me, if you cut
corners on something as important as business cards your potential
clients will wonder what else you are doing on the cheap.....read this article

Did You Spot the Gorilla?: How to Recognise the Hidden Opportunities in Your Life
by Richard Wiseman
30 people were asked to watch a basketball game and count the passes between the players. During the game a man in a gorilla suit walked on and pounded his chest. Almost none of the volunteers saw the gorilla! This is a book that explores how we might be missing opportunities in our lives. It's a really interesting read and written in an easy to consume style. I purchased 3 of Richard's books in 1 go (the other two are Quirkology: The Curious Science of Everyday Lives
and 59 Seconds: Think a Little, Change a Lot
). Check it out if you are interested in exploring creativity and how you might find more opportunities in your own life.
