Summer's well and truly here, and after last week's heatwave we're now get a bit of respite before it comes back again. Summer is a great time to review your business and take stock before ramping up again in September... So, what can you develop or improve on for the last quarter of the year? If you're a Twitter fan, you will no doubt be aware of the #moonfruit craze over the last 10 days. Well, as luck would have it, Wendy Tan White, the founder of Moonfruit is the entrepreneur that is speaking at this month's Women Unlimited meetup on July 29th. Wendy will be sharing how she turned her business around from the depths of despair during the dotcom boom to how they created a frenzy on Twitter. Places are limited so make sure you book early! Finally, we're looking for an event organiser volunteer to help us organise a VERY high profile event at the British Library in November as part of Global Enterprise Week, please get in touch if you are interested or know someone who might be! After the huge success of our previous email marketing course, we're offering two workshops which you can book either individually or together. The first will run through the ins and outs of email marketing - one of the most cost effective methods of marketing to your clients. The second workshop will give you the opportunity to actually create your first email in the room to send to your clients. We'll show you how to use Constant Contact, how to manage and find images for your emails and how to set up your website to add a subscribe form AND import your database. After the success of our Social media workshop we're running some workshops on how to specifically use some of the tools that we discussed. The Dakar Dragons is a project led by Marieme Jamme to help African women in Senegal build sustainable businesses.  A small group of business people will be spending 2 weeks in Senegal with Marieme from the 20th November to work alongside Viola Vaugh - CNN hero and creator of the 10 000 girls project.
