We hold one of our fantastic Business Club sessions at the British Library on the last Wednesday of every month. The club is hosted by Julie Hall in the wonderful British Library Business and IP Centre next to St. Pancras.
Each month we feature a new business topic to discuss and engage with each other about. We have chosen this format because quite honestly, we’re tired of the traditional type of networking that is out there and think it’s time for a change.
The Business Club meeting features an extension of that month’s SPOTLIGHT topic. In January our SPOTLIGHT topic is all about how to optimise your website to get results
This month’s meeting topic:How connect with your customer through your website
Most people create their website, get it live and then don’t look at it for months at a time. A few months ago, we did a session on calls to action on your website, but this time we are going to focus on how to create a website that keeps people engaged and gives them what they want. We’ll look at blogs, social engagement, community development, layout and navigation. We’ll discuss what makes a website work from a content perspective, not just from a visual perspective. If you come along you’ll have an opportunity to look at and discuss your website in particular in your breakout group and get feedback and ideas that you can take back and implement straight away.
What to expect
With straight talking and clear training, we’ll show you what really works. You will walk out with your own action packed, focused marketing strategy that you can take away with you and implement straight away.
You will go away feeling inspired and full of ideas that you can implement straight away. Come along and figure out how to make your website sing. Tra-la-la.

Here are few things that some of our business club members have to say…
“The business club offers a rare opportunity to speak openly and honestly about your business. It’s great to be a member of a group of business woman who really “get it” I have made some excellent contacts at the club, but even more importantly, business friends and allies.
Julie’s training talks are always on point and stimulating, and provide a very useful focus point to the meetings.
I come away from the club feeling energised and uplifted – thanks Julie!” Felix Macintosh, Tigersonic
“I get so much from every single business club meeting I attend. Not only do I get to meet with likeminded women business owners, aiming to take their businesses up a level, I also get support, advice and the opportunity to develop my business through in-put from the business-wise and very knowledgeable Julie Hall. What a woman! What a club!” Claudia Crawley, Winning Pathways Coaching
““The Women Unlimited Business Club provides an extra dimension to networking. You also get to learn about practical tools and strategies for your business development. The combination of input, interaction and supportive challenge is both motivating and inspiring”.” Sue Oliver
“Thank you for organising such amazingly helpful sessions through the Business Club. It is extremely valuable and unique to be able to pool our knowledge and work together to help both ourselves and other peoples businesses. It is providing the fresh approach and constructive criticism that we lack when we are working on our own in our small businesses. It is also incredibly informative and great fun. ” Emma Hammett, First Aid for Life
“What you have created is ‘networking with a difference’. It’s how women naturally network and I think you’ve uncovered something that no other networking group is really doing as it embraces how we network as women (we collaborate, support etc). Your meetings also incorporate learning so I feel like I’m getting more from it than just networking and this adds real value to my business as I come away with great ideas and I’m inspired.” Anne Loyd

Great Article. I use the WordPress platform, and there are literally no less than 50 plugins you can use to interact and collaborate with your sites visitors. Additionally, I think using the CommentLuv plugin is one of the most exciting new tools one can deploy to build relationships between website visitors and the site owner!

I am a WP user, too and also a big commentluv plugin fan. It really shows us tons of useful abilities. This plugin has great benefits in developing a beautiful blog and its optimization. In my opinion, it should be a must-have tool for bloggers these days because of its benefits
